My upcoming internship at Folkæt

I’m currently preparing for my upcoming internship at Folkæt, a 15-person start-up business building a group-formation tool designed to make collaboration easier and more intentional. The tool focuses on strengthening relationships within teams and bringing out each member’s individual strengths— so that people actually want to contribute to the group.

Their goal is to reach students and young people, and show how the tool can be used in an educational context: planning work together based on clear role distribution and a shared understanding of each other’s values.

My main task will be helping develop and redesign the quizzes that are central to the product. Right now they want a more playful expression— something that feels lighter and faster to move through. That sits right at the intersection of UX writing, interaction design, and visual tone, which is exactly the kind of work I want to get better at.

I’m looking forward to working closely with a team that is still shaping what the product is, and contributing to something that is genuinely trying to change how groups form and function.
